Maria Verheijen was born on 21-6-1981 in Sittard, where she also lives her entire life.

Her martial art career began at her 8th year at boxing Heerlen along with her brother.
Here Maria was trained by the late Hans Steindle, where she runned some parties. At her 11st year she stopped boxing and in 2001 she became acquainted with the kick and thaiboxing (then in Geleen). Her carreer went rather fast, and she fought therefore very quickly to the A class.
Now she trains for several years at Jego Gym in Sittard, where she also is teaching the youth thaiboxing with a lot of passion.

Her mangement is GOLDEN GLORY HELMOND

In May 2005 she wonr the world title -63.5 kg IKBO in Duisburg

In october 2008 she won the World Title WFCA 58,9 Kg in Sittard

Her biggest goal is to be the best in her class and she is training to get there.
